Schwebel’s Bakery invites customers to share its family recipes for the chance to win a $500 prize.
The Schwebel’s 2014 Recipe Contest will accept recipe submissions until Jan. 15. Eight winners will be selected. The recipes can be for any kind of dish that contains Schwebel’s bread. There is no limit on the number of submissions from each family.
Schwebel’s plans to include submissions in an online cookbook that will be featured on its website. To submit your recipe, go to schwebels.com.
Williamson College plans orientation

The Williamson College of Business at Youngstown State University master’s of business administration orientation will take place at 6 p.m. Jan. 8 at Williamson Hall in Room 3418.
Designed with the working professional in mind, courses in the Williamson MBA are offered in a business-friendly, concentrated format, meeting one evening a week for eight weeks or less.
The GMAT may no longer be required for admission (applicants can apply for the GMAT waiver based on work experience and GPA). Bring a copy of your resume and unofficial transcript for a free preliminary screening for the GMAT waiver.

OSHA plans to offer seminar concerning record keeping

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber of Commerce will have an OSHA record-keeping seminar from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 14 at Leo’s Ristorante, 7042 E. Market St.
The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation’s Brian Zachetti will focus on the determination of recordability to ensure accurate records are established and maintained.
Participants will learn record-keeping requirements for workplace injuries and illnesses, proper use of OSHA record-keeping forms, the scope and requirements of Regulation 1904 and guidelines for recordable and non-recordable workplace injury interpretations.
