The Home Savings and Loan Co. received the 2014 Leo Goldberg award from Home Builders Association of Greater Cleveland. The HBA presents this award annually to honor the financial institution that has made great strides in the building industry during the year. This is Home Savings’ second time receiving the award.

Darlene Williams-Parker, the owner of Miss Darlene’s Day Care in Youngstown, was awarded a Child Development Associate credential in recognition of outstanding work with young children. The credential was awarded by the Council for Professional Recognition in Washington, D.C., which represents the early-childhood profession.
