CANFIELD

Dec. 19

Warrant: Police arrested Robert Shepka, 32, of Sheridan Road, Youngstown, on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant for failure to appear.

Dec. 20

Arrest: Police arrested James Slaughter, 32, of Westwood Avenue, Alliance, on a charge of drug possession.

Dec. 23

Arrest: Police arrested Donna Glacken, 27 of Market Street, Boardman, on a charge of drug possession, and Kevin Jackson, 54, of Willow Drive, Boardman, on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

AUSTINTOWN

Dec. 22

Assault: A 20-year-old woman told police she was assaulted at Austintown Fire Department Station No. 2, 4102 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: A vacant house was entered and copper pipe was taken out of the structure in the 100 block of South Roanoke Avenue.

Theft: A catalytic converter was cut off an engine of a vehicle parked in the 50 block of Westminster Avenue.

Criminal mischief: A vehicle was egged at a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.

Theft: Police arrested Richard Lawson, 51, of Mahoning Avenue, on a theft charge. Police accused him of taking $65.22 in merchandise from Dollar General, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A Smith & Wesson Model 60 firearm, a holster and a speed loader were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: An unidentified male took a television from Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A person’s identity was taken to file a tax return. The victim lives in the 3000 block of Edinburgh Drive.

Theft: A female took an undetermined amount of merchandise from Walmart.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted text messages were reported at a home in the 100 block of Georgetown Place.

Dec. 23

Warrant: Michael Mele, 24, of Wingate Road, Poland, was turned over to Boardman police on a warrant for theft.

Criminal damaging: Two vehicles were damaged at a home in the 100 block of Georgetown Place.

Theft: A cast-iron frog was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Timberbrook Drive.

Criminal mischief: A vehicle was egged at a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.

Dec. 24

Theft: A trailer was stolen at Ryan Carpet, 70 Victoria Road.

Burglary: A window to a garage main door was broken, and a truck, jewelry and cash were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Lanterman Road.

Dec. 25

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 2000 block of Redgate Lane.

Dec. 26

Recovered property: Keys were recovered at a home in the 4000 block of Maple Avenue.

Theft: A debit card was stolen, and unauthorized charges were made to the account at Walgreen’s, 5501 Mahoning Ave.

Arrest: Police arrested Christina Foster, 34, of North Turner Road, on charges of domestic violence and possession of marijuana.

Dec. 27

Warrant: Police arrested Eric Chambers, 23, of Main Street, Mineral Ridge, on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge and handed him over to Weathersfield police.

Criminal damaging: Damage to a yard was reported at a home in the 1000 block of Victory Hill Lane.

Theft: Miscellaneous party supplies were stolen from Party On, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Someone stole a license plate from a car parked at a home in the 40 block of Parkgate Avenue.

Theft: A woman reported to police that $300 was taken from her by an ex-boyfriend at a home in the 100 block of Aldrich Road.

Burglary: A back glass door was shattered and jewelry taken from a home in the 5000 block of Nashua Drive.

Assault: A dishwasher was assaulted by the kitchen manager at the Upstairs Lounge, 4500 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A purse was taken from an auto parked at a home in the 100 block of South Four Mile Run Road.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted phone calls and texts were reported at a home in the 200 block of North Main Street.

Theft: Jewelry was taken from a home in the 5000 block of Nashua Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Jennifer DiPietro, 34, of Lincoln Avenue, Hubbard, on a warrant for theft by deception.
