First Presbyterian Church was the setting for the exchange of vows between Miranda Jane Appel and and Michael Tod D’Amico on Nov. 1.
The 2:30 p.m. wedding was officiated by the Rev. Carolyn Griffeth, and a reception followed at Leo’s Ristorante in Howland.
The couple honeymooned in Sanibel Island, Fla., and live in Boardman.
The daughter of James and Pamela Appel of Canfield earned a degree in food and nutrition from Youngstown State University. She works as a registered dietitian for Adagio Health in New Castle, Pa.
The son of Tod McMaster of McDonald and the late Elizabeth D’Amico earned a degree in psychology from YSU and is a full-time grad student there pursuing a degree in school counseling. He is employed as a day program instructor at ISLE Purple Cat in Youngstown.
The bride’s fit-and-flare gown featured a sweetheart neckline and a chapel train.
Erin Cromer, sister of the bride, was her matron of honor, and another sister, Caitlin Appel, was a bridesmaid. Attendants wore navy blue dresses.
Kevin Swadener served as the groom’s best man, and the groomsman was Eric Border. Serving as ushers were Chad Cromer, brother-in-law of the bride, and Richard Eaton.
