WARREN

Exhibitions by photographer David Hume Kennerly and painter Larry Beckstein will open open Jan. 10 at Trumbull Art Gallery, 158-62 N. Park Ave., and run through Feb. 14.

Kennerly is a Pulitzer Prize-winner who visited Youngstown State University in October for the opening of an exhibition there.

He donated 53 photographs from the collection “David Hume Kennerly on the iPhone” to support the creation of the David Hume Kennerly Scholarship in Art.

The Trumbull Art Gallery is joining with YSU’s College of Creative Arts and Communication to extend his exhibition into 2015.

Gallery patrons will have the chance to purchase the photographs.

Beckstein’s exhibition will begin with an opening reception from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 10.

The artist grew up in wildlife-rich Northwestern Pennsylvania, roaming through woods and streams with his sketchpad.

His specialty is working with dogs and North American wildlife and he has produced more than 100 limited edition works of art that have sold nationwide.

The exhibition at TAG is Beckstein’s first one-man exhibition, and provides an opportunity to view his original paintings, which serve as the source for his limited edition prints.
