Allison Pavlov, daughter of Karen Pavlov of Canfield, and Todd Pungratz were united in marriage in an Aug. 9 afternoon ceremony at Canfield Presbyterian Church.

The officiant was the Rev. Larry Bowald, and the couple received guests afterward at the Mahoning Country Club in Girard.

They went to New York City for a wedding trip and live in Pittsburgh.

The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, also is the daughter of Joseph and Maya Pavlov of Dallas. The groom is the son of Susan Pungratz of Lower Burrell, Pa., and the late David Pungratz.

The bride’s strapless blush gown featured a sweetheart neckline, a ruched bodice and tulle skirt, and it was accented by a black sash.

Natalie Pavlov, sister of the bride, was her maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Jennifer Pungratz, the groom’s sister; Jessica Davison; and Aisha Shabazz. Attendants wore black dresses.

The groom’s cousin, Jared Witucki, served as his best man, and groomsmen were Kyle Casciole, Bradley Kurtik and Garret Wickline.

Ms. Pavlov graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is pursuing a doctorate in psychiatric nursing practice from Robert Morris University.

She is employed as a psychiatric registered nurse at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of UPMC in Pittsburgh.

Mr. Pungratz earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Pennsylvania State University and a master’s in social work from the University of Pittsburgh.

He is employed as a licensed clinical social worker, also at the Western Psychiatric Clinic.
