Man missing since October now suspected homicide victim

YOUNGSTOWN

The Mahoning County Coroner’s office has identified a body found about 1:45 p.m. Thursday at Mabel Avenue and Gibson Street on the South Side as 24-year-old Anthony Harrison of Austintown.

A news release from the coroner’s office said Harrison’s body was badly decomposed and it had to identify him through a series of tattoos he had received.

An autopsy will be needed to determine a cause of death but police are investigating his death as a homicide. He has been missing since October.
