Man accused of pointing gun at Warren police officer


WARREN — Bond of $25,000 was set this morning in Warren Municipal Court for Justin Del Cruz, 20, of Woodview Avenue Southwest, charged with felony of being a felon in possession of a firearm and accused of pointing a shotgun at a Warren police officer late New Year’s Eve.

Del Cruz pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges of aggravated menacing and discharging firearms in the city limits, and Judge Terry Ivanchak added another $7,500 bond for those.

Anthony Scott, 20, of Logan Avenue Southeast pleaded not guilty to obstructing official business in connection with the same incident. Bond of $2,500 was set for him.
