Let peace, forgiveness reign

Most New Year’s resolu- tions are only skin deep. The 2015 New Year’s resolution should be one of peace and forgiveness— especially with a somber Christmas and the discord in the streets.

There is bad in the best of us and good in the worst of us. Meaning God is still at work in all of us. Our brotherhood is more than skin deep. Let’s hope we all stop and can be reconciled with our neighbor.

Here’s hoping 2015 is filled with the Holy Spirit at work in all of us.

YSU fans should give Bo a break

From a fan in Nebraska, it is a shame that Coach Bo Pelini is taken to task for his comments, when all he did was tell the truth. Sure he used bad language, but who among us hasn’t said something wrong?

He will always have great fans in Nebraska, and we wish him the best. You guys need to give him a break for his demeanor. You got one of the best coaches in the nation, and we are helping you pay his salary.

Also, the college is selling a lot of Penguins football stuff to people in Nebraska. I hope Coach Pelini does great.

I’m sorry that you won’t play the Nebraska team, most would root for the Penguins.
