Shymara Dykes scored 17 points and made 14 rebounds and five blocks to lead the Raiders (6-3). Alasjia Dykes scored 16 points and made seven rebounds and four steals while Chelsea Dipaolo and Jazmine Harrison each scored 10 points.

Boardman wins tourney; Tancabel rolls first 300
AKRON
The Boardman High School boys and girls bowling teams won the Stonehedge Lanes Holiday Tournament. Nick Tancabel rolled his first career 300 game. “The nerves were there, but I knew the guys were behind me,” Tancabel said of the 10th frame. “I knew I threw a good final shot and I just prayed all 10 fell.” Other top games rolled by the Spartans were 245 by Nick Christmas and 239 by Jason Babnic. In the final rounds, Boardman defeated Massillon Jackson, Peninsula Woodridge and Struthers. The Spartans’ girls team was seeded eighth in the final round and defeated Akron Ellet, Massillon Perry and Wadsworth to win.
