Library plans movies, STEAM programs
SALEM
Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will present Film Frenzy, a family movie program.
Every other Thursday a PG-rated feature film will be shown at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s Quaker Room.
This month, there will be movies on Jan. 8 and 22.
Call the library at 330-332-0042 for titles and more information. No registration is required for these free programs.
Also, the library plans programs for kids in third through sixth grades called Full STEAM Ahead. Science, technology, art and library exploration are all part of each session.
The first program takes place Monday with a “Let it Snow” theme. There will be crafting, testing catapult building prowess and experimenting with ice and snow. Register on the library’s website, www.salem.lib.oh.us.
