The Society of St. John Chrysostom, Youngstown Warren Chapter, will present “Dialogue Between Gregory Palamas and Thomas Aquinas” at 7 p.m. March 10 at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 2800 Oakwood Ave.

Speaker will be Camillus O. Njoku, who has a doctorate in systematic theology from Duquesne University and is parochial vicar at Holy Redeemer Parish, Ellwood City, Diocese of Pittsburgh.

Installation service at Covenant Life

Covenant Life Fellowship, 5900 W. Liberty St., will conduct an installation service for Pastor Eric Diehl as lead pastor at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. A representative from Ohio Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God will officiate. Refreshments will follow in the fellowship hall.

Pastor Diehl is a graduate of Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo., with a degree in Bible and youth and minor in counseling. Previously, he served for 10 years as assistant pastor at New Life Assembly of God in Venice, Fla., and 10 years as youth pastor at New Hope Assembly of God in Elizabeth, Pa.,

His wife, Mary, also is a graduate of Central Bible College with a degree in Bible and missions. She served for nine years as children’s pastor at New Life Assembly of God in Venice.

The Diehls have four children and have relocated to the Youngstown/Warren area.

Covenant Life Fellowship offers services at 10:30 a.m. Sundays; child care is provided along with children’s ministries for kindergarten through fifth-graders.

‘Festival of Bells’

YOUNGSTOWN

St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak-hill Ave., will host an interfaith musical event, “The Festival of Bells,” from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday in its Sunday Sauce and Song series. The spaghetti dinner will be from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the social hall. Bell choirs of First Covenant Church and St. Charles Borromeo Church, both in Boardman; First Friends Church in Salem; Mount Olivet United Church in North Lima; and St. Patrick will participate.

The concert is free. Free-will offerings are welcome.

About work in Haiti

HUBBARD

Corner House Christian Church, 6954 Chestnut Ridge Road, will host J. D. Hite of LifeLine Christian Missions in Westerville at 9:30 March 8. He will speak on work in Haiti to educate and improve the quality of life.

The congregation and friends are asked to donate l6-ounce jars of peanut butter and a quarter for shipping. More than 400 sundresses from the ongoing Little Dresses for Haiti community ministry also will be presented.

Prayer breakfast set at Mount Gilead

Mount Gilead Baptist Church, 2821 Hillman St., will sponsor a prayer breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon March 7 in its new fellowship hall.

DiSalvo will be guest speaker when Youngstown Chapter of Igniting New Life Ministries, an interdenominational ministry, meets Monday at Georgeanna Parker Activity Center in Boardman Park, 375 Boardman-Poland Road. Fellowship will begin at 6:30 p.m. with ministry at 7. DiSalvo is a member of the prophetic and ministry teams at Victory Christian Center in Coitsville.

Jewish/Christian Studies/North will focus on evil and sin in a program Wednesday at Temple El Emeth, 3970 Logan Way.
