Alchemy Acres plans spaghetti fundraiser March 8

Alchemy Acres Animal Sanctuary volunteers Steve Sacco with Duke and Brandie Burns with Buckeye promote the spaghetti dinner planned from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 8 at the Salem Italian American Banquet Hall, 250 Penn Ave., Salem. Tickets may be bought at the door or in advance at 330-332-4897. The cost is $7 per ticket and free for children under 5. The meal includes meatballs, salad or applesauce, bread, coffee, tea or lemonade and dessert. The event will feature a basket auction with a gas grill and wheel barrow that comes with five yards of mulch, among other items. Also planned are a 50-50 raffle and a carryout bake sale.
