WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS
A 20-year-old man from the Cleveland area has pleaded not guilty to aggravated-murder charges in the deadly shooting of three people at a barbershop in early February.
A judge in Cuyahoga County also raised the bond for Douglas Shine Jr. to $5 million Thursday.
Shine was in court for the first time since being indicted in the Feb. 5 shooting at Chalk Linez barbershop in Warrensville Heights.
He’s accused of killing the barbershop’s 32-year-old owner and two of the man’s friends. Three other people were shot and injured.
Officials haven’t commented yet about a possible motive.
A message seeking a comment was left with Shine’s attorney Thursday.
Shine was released from prison in December after serving two years for robbery and weapons charges.
