Canfield alumni ranked second in the nation

The Mount Union men’s trach and field team had five NCAA Division III provisional marks at the Jim Wuske Invitational recently. One of those distinguished athletes was Tyler Mettille, an alumni of Canfield High School. He posted a time of 22.19 in the 200 meters, which won the event and was the number two mark in the nation so far this season. Mettille was also part of a 4x400 relay team that posted the third best time in the nation and won the event.

Send us your news

If you’re a winter sports coach or the parent of an athlete, we need your help. In order to get teams and players the recognition they deserve, we want to showcase them in our pages. You can email us at neighbors@vindy.com.

You don’t have to be a writer — just send us the information and we’ll put it all together. When emailing pictures, send them as JPEG files as large as possible. Provide caption information and where people are located from left to right, front row to back.
