BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Twelve Raiders scored in a sectional semifinal rout of the Leopards. Maddie Durkin (15 points), Sara Durr (14), Morgan Czopur (13) and Ashley Sharp (11) all reached double figures for South Range (19-4). Durkin added eight rebounds and Sharp haf 11 assists. The Raiders host East Palestine in a sectional final on Saturday. Amy Mikulich led Liberty (4-19) with 19 points.

Garfield 50, Champion 23

GARRETTSVILLE

Grayson had 14 points and Madisson Geddes added 10 points for Garfield (15-7). Izzy D’Urso had seven points for Champion. The third-seeded G-Men will host Gates Mills Hawken in a sectional final on Saturday.

Newton Falls 77, Waterloo 32

NEWTON FALLS

Gabby Kline scored 18 points and Sadie Sutton added 15 points for the Tigers. Becky Adelman scored 10 points for the Vikings. Top-seeded Newton Falls will host Berkshire in a sectional final on Saturday.

Girard 51, United 37

GIRARD

The third-seeded Indians advanced to host Mineral Ridge in a sectional final on Saturday. No other details were reported.

Pymatuning Valley 51, Middlefield Cardinal 27

ANDOVER

The second-seeded Lakers advanced to host LaBrae in a sectional final on Saturday. No other details were reported.

DIVISION IV

Jackson-Milton 68, Sebring 23

NORTH JACKSON

Kaitlyn Totani made all of the Bluejays’ six 3-pointers and scored 25 points as Jackson-Milton beat Sebring in a Division IV sectional semifinal. Ashley Totani added 13 points and Michaelina Terranova had 10 points and 12 rebounds for Jackson-Milton (16-7). Kaitlyn Totani also had six assists and Ashley Totani had four steals. The Bluejays will host Youngstown Christian in a sectional final on Saturday.

Western Reserve 75, Heartland Christian 20

BERLIN CENTER

Sydney Miller had 21 points and five rebounds and Tory White added 14 points for Reserve, which won its 12th straight game. The Blue Devils will play Crestview on Saturday. Lauren Falasca added eight points, six steals and three assists and Aleah Hughes had eight points and four rebounds, giving her 800 rebounds for her career.

Crestview 60, Lowellville 27

NEW WATERFORD

Alexis Gates scored 17 points with seven rebounds, Tristan Huff had 10 points, six assists and five steals and Emily Ferris had 10 points for Crestview (10-13). Emily Partika led Lowellville (7-15) with seven points.

Youngstown Christian 51, Wellsville 40

YOUNGSTOWN

Imane Snyder scored 19 points with nine rebounds, four steals and two blocks for YCS (15-7). Destinee Snyder added nine points, six steals and three rebounds and Arlivian Cheirs had nine points and nine rebounds. The Eagles will visit Jackson-Milton on Saturday. Ashley Bennett led Wellsville (10-13) with 14 points and nine rebounds and Destiny Crow had 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Baylie Mook scored 37 points and Emily Witmer added 22 for the Clippers. Hannah Brothers and Sarah Phillips each scored six points to lead the Indians.

Badger 66, Mathews 45

KINSMAN

Harlee Logan scored 30 points and reached 1,000 points for her career as the Braves beat the Mustangs in a sectional semifinal. Izabella Armstrong added 10 for Badger. Bryanna McClurg scored 14 points for the Mustangs.

Windham 73, Southington 32

WINDHAM

Jessica Isler scored 19 points and Brittany Knight added 11 for the Bombers. Emma Baugher had 10 to lead the Wildcats. Top-seeded Windham will host Warren JFK on Saturday.

BOYS BASKETBALL

DIVISION II

Beaver Local 52, Philo 48

LISBON

Chase Wilcox had 17 points and Chase Hilliard added 12 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for Beaver Local, which won its first sectional game in eight years by outscoring Philo 35-20 in the second half. Hayden Grafton added 11 points, while Layke Fletcher led Philo with 21 points. The Beavers will play McConnelsville Morgan on Friday.

Liberty 70, Lakeview 67

LIBERTY

Lynn Bowden scored 30 points and made two free throws with six seconds left to give the Leopards a three-point lead. Lakeview missed a 3 at the buzzer. Ben Phillips added 17 points and seven rebounds for the Leopards. Chris Muir scored 11 of his 13 points in the fourth quarter for Lakeview. Brandon Keller added 17 points and Tommy Bell 16.

Howland 56, Hubbard 47

HUBBARD

Julian Lanier scored 15 points and Victor Willams added 10 for the Tigers. Adam Schroeder had 14 and Ryan Love added 13 for the Eagles.

STATE DIVING

Teter 12th, Anderson 15th

CANTON

Girard junior Savannah Teter finished 12th with 374.15 points and East Palestine sophomore Faith Anderson was 15th with 364.95 points at Wednesday’s Division II state diving meet at C.T. Branin Natatorium. Kettering Alter junior Claire Schuermann was first with 483.35 points. Teter finished eighth at last year’s state meet while Anderson was 19th.
