Boardman bank robbery suspect faces additional charge


AUSTINTOWN — A Youngstown man arrested this week on a charge of aggravated robbery after law enforcement officials said he robbed a Huntington bank in Boardman on Jan. 9 faces another aggravated-robbery charge, a first-degree felony, in Austintown.

Court records show that charges for an Austintown robbery were filed Wednesday against G. Shannon McColor, 26, of Woodcrest Avenue. The Austintown robbery took place Jan. 26, according to court records. Court records also show he faces a burglary charge from last year.

He was arraigned on the second aggravated-robbery charge in Mahoning County Area Court here Wednesday. He was arraigned for the Boardman offense Tuesday.

He has hearings in Mahoning County area courts in both townships next week. He is in the Mahoning County jail.
