“The Voice” (8 p.m., NBC): Christina Aguilera rejoins her pals in the big, cushy revolving chairs as “The Voice” returns for its eighth season. First up, as always: the blind auditions.

“Citizenfour” (9 p.m., HBO): “Citizenfour,” the ultra compelling Oscar-nominated documentary about NSA whistle-blower Edward Snowden, makes its television debut. The film has journalist Glenn Greenwald interviewing Snowden in a Hong Kong hotel room.

“BET Honors” (9 p.m., BET): Mary J. Blige and Ne-Yo are among the performers honoring Kanye West, Phylicia Rashad and other African-American luminaries.

“Sleepy Hollow” (9 p.m., Fox): Last week provided quite the set-up for this second-season finale.

Bell choirs concert at St. Patrick’s

YOUNGSTOWN

Bell choirs from churches throughout the Mahoning Valley will present a Festival of Bells concert from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave.

The performance is free to the public, but offerings will be accepted. It is part of the Sauce and Song series at the church.

A spaghetti dinner will be served in the social hall from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The menu also includes salad, bread, dessert and beverage. The cost is $8 ($5 for children 10 and under). Carryouts are available, and containers will be provided.

Proceeds will benefit for Beatitude House and the Dorothy Day House of Hospitality.

Piano and vocal duo release album

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.

“Language of Romance,” a recording featuring Marie Libal-Smith, Westminster College adjunct piano faculty, and Pittsburgh-based opera singer Lara Lynn Cottrill, a soprano, has been released.

The CD features songs of 19th-century Italian composer Vincenzo Bellini and 20th-century Austrian composer Joseph Marx.
