Austintown man faces drug charges after found in stolen vehicle

YOUNGSTOWN — A man who was booked into the Mahoning County jail late Sunday after being found in a stolen vehicle had three packets of heroin in his shoe, reports said.

Tyrell Williamson, 36, of Austintown, was found in a truck reported stolen out of Austintown about 10:25 p.m. and pulled over in a drive in the 500 block of East Avondale Avenue and taken to the jail on several warrants and a charge of receiving stolen property.

The heroin was found by corrections officers as he was being searched before being booked. An additional charge of possession of heroin was added.
