Memorable Meals tickets available

YOUNGSTOWN

Tickets are on sale for the second annual Memorable Meals Mahoning Valley, which will take place in Stambaugh Auditorium’s Grand Ballroom on April 26 from 2 to 5 p.m.

With the theme Dining Across Cultures, the event will feature local cuisine from a variety of cultures, including pierogi, spinning- bowl salads, Italian greens, corned beef, hot peppers, pulled pork, creme sticks and more.

Participating restaurants include Kravitz Delicatessen, Dog House Hot Dogs, Avalon Downtown, Abruzzi’s, Charlie Staples, Plaza Donuts and more.

There also will be libations from local wineries and breweries, local chefs producing classic dishes made with locally grown produce and meat, and a presentation by local historian Tom Welsh on his book, “Classic Restaurants of Youngstown.”

Proceeds will benefit Grow Youngstown’s subsidized share program, Stambaugh Auditorium, and the Tyler History Center’s development of new education and community outreach programs.
