EDINBURG, PA.

Tim and Barb Womer of Edinburg, Pa., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Brianna Womer, also of Edinburg, and Andre Bown of Athens, Ohio.

He is the son of Vernon and Claudia Brown of East Liverpool.

The couple are planning their wedding for May 28, 2016.

The bride-elect graduated from Grove City College with a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology. She attends Youngstown State University in pursuit of a doctorate in physical therapy.

The prospective groom graduated from Concord University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and from YSU with a master’s degree in biology. He attends Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in pursuit of a doctorate in osteopathic medicine.
