YMTA concert at Butler North

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown Music Teachers Association will host its Mid-Winter Honors Recital at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Butler North.

Students performing will be Samantha Vuksanovich, Julianne Wagley, Jon Wagley, Maria Reichard, Yiwen Wang, Mallory Stilson, Phillip Naples, Benjamin Ams, Lilly Weiss, Benjamin Martin, Claire Colbaugh, John Martin, Brianna Remias, Brandon Sharp, Carrie Yasnowski, Hayden Coxson, Jonathan Scurich and Meredith Lea.

The YMTA scholarship winner is Amanda Lawrence.

Teachers represented will be Nelya Stefanides, Sean Baran, Rick Barber, Dr. Melva Huebert, Christina Gant, Gina Bagnoli, Diane Yazvac, Alison Morris and Dolores Hansley.

Accompanists are Baran, Yazvac and Morris.

Dinner show for seniors planned

Niles SCOPE Senior Center is offering a dinner show for seniors on March 25 at Packard Music Hall.

Lunch will be served at noon, and the show, “Barbara & Frank, The Concert That Never Was,” will follow.

Group rates are available at the center for $48 for the show and lunch, and $52 for show, lunch and transportation from Niles for those who don’t want to drive themselves.

The deadline for payment is Wednesday. Payments can be mailed to the center at 14 E. State St., Niles, OH, or made in person.
