Teen indicted in BB gun assault

WARREN

The one adult member of the band of teens who shot BB guns at a 20-year-old pedestrian and a Warren barbershop was indicted on one felony charge and eight misdemeanors.

Sa’Dierra Lowery, 18, of Genesee Avenue will be arraigned on a felony count of vandalism and eight misdemeanors of criminal damaging Friday in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

Police say she was with two 16-year-old females and males age 16 and 14 on Nov. 4 when they stole a bottle of liquor from the Mahoning Avenue Giant Eagle, took a cellphone and fired BB guns at a pedestrian who later required surgery for a damaged eye. They also fired at CBS Barber Shop on Highland Avenue Southwest, breaking a plate-glass window. They also were responsible for shooting at a house on the city’s north end, police said.

Lowery and the juveniles were arrested shortly after the Giant Eagle theft.
