Salem hospital schedules its Hearts and Stars Ball

Salem Regional Medical Center Foundation will host its fifth annual “Hearts and Stars Ball: A Celebration of Champions” on March 21 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road.

The event will support SRMC’s cancer care expansion project. To buy tickets or for information, call Lisa Long at 330-337-2883 or email lisa.long@salemregional.com. The deadline to buy tickets is March 2.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with appetizers and a cash bar followed by a spring-inspired buffet at 7. Additional highlights are desserts served by medical staffers, a silent auction, a jazz ensemble and recognition of those in attendance who are cancer survivors or are undergoing cancer treatment.

Funds raised will support SRMC’s efforts to expand local access to state-of-the-art cancer care. Scheduled for completion this fall, the hospital’s treatment center will offer advanced services for patients and families.
