LAFAYETTE, LA.

Adrienne Young of Lafayette, La., and Jon Howell of Bloomington, Ind., were united in marriage at a 5 p.m. ceremony Oct. 4, 2014, officiated by the Rev. Tommy Faulk at the Cafe Vermillionville in Lafayette. A reception followed at the same location.

The bride is the daughter of Charles and Laura Fortenberry of Sierra Vista, Ariz. James and Janet Howell of Youngstown are parents of the groom.

Sydney Regina Young, the bride’s daughter, was maid of honor. The groom’s son, Jerremy Howell, performed duties of best man.

The couple are graduates of Oral Roberts University, where they earned bachelor’s degrees in communication arts.

Mrs. Howell is the manager of corporate communication at Gibson Energy in Lafayette.

Her husband is a service manager at State Farm in Bloomington.

After a wedding trip to Galveston, Texas, the Howells live in Bloomington.
