Youngstown man gets 10-year sentence for dealing crack cocaine

YOUNGSTOWN — A city man who federal authorities say was selling crack cocaine out of a home on the East Side was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison Friday.

Terrence D. Howell, 43, was sentenced in the U.S. Northern District Court of Ohio on charges of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and maintaining a drug house.

He was arrested after having more than 28 grams (nearly 1 ounce) of crack cocaine in his possession April 28.

The Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force, the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and Assistant U.S. Attorney David M. Toepfer prosecuted the case.
