Warren man charged in felony from Boardman business

A Warren man faces a felony theft charge after he was arrested on a warrant Tuesday.

George Wix, 39, is charged with stealing property and cash from Mr. Rooter Plumbing, 97 Karago Ave. in Boardman.

An employee of the business reported to township police that Wix, a former employee, took $480 in cash, a $2,500 camera reel and a $3,000 monitor. Wix reportedly sold the items at a pawn shop.

Wix is scheduled to appear in Mahoning County Area Court here Thursday.
