Color Run returns to city this summer

YOUNGSTOWN

The Color Run’s World Wide Shine Tour will come to Youngstown on June 13.

The race will start at 8 a.m. at the Covelli Centre, and circle the downtown area.

Registration is now open for the event, which is presented in partnership with Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley.

The Color Run is an untimed 5-kilometer race in which participants are doused in color paint at every kilometer marker.

Art’s Alive show at Winner Center

SHARON, PA.

The third annual Art’s Alive in the Dead of Winter” will be Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Winner Jr. Arts & Culture Center, 98 E. State St., downtown.

The work of more than 80 regional artisans, in all mediums, will be on display on all three floors, and there will be food, a cash bar and music by Rick Bruckner, James Willaman, Ben Anderton, Anthony Horvath, Mike Cummings and Brandon Vuich, and Robert Malaniak.

Food vendors include the Corinthian Banquet Hall and Donna’s Diner.

Representatives from WaterFire Sharon, the new Hope Center of Arts and Technology and the Hoyt Center for the Arts will be on hand.

Admission is $5.
