OSHP identifies victims in fatal Columbiana County crash

EAST LIVERPOOL — The victims killed in an accident on U.S. Route 30 in Liverpool Township on Tuesday have been identified as Leanne Nicholson, 46, of Martins Ferry, and Carole Cika, 31, of Yorkville.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol Lisbon post reported that a van was traveling south on U.S. Route 30 near state Route 170 when it went off the road, struck a tree and caught fire about 8:25 a.m. Tuesday.

Nicholson was driving the vehicle, and Cika was a front-seat passenger, the patrol said.
