Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will serve a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown, will serve Lenten fish dinners from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Meals consist of fried shrimp, fried or baked fish with sides, bread and butter, beverages and desserts. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 420 Clearmount Drive, Youngstown, will offer Lenten service opportunities Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Church women will provide a light lunch of soup, bread, beverage and dessert after the 12:30 p.m. services. A freewill offering will be taken. Takeout of pasta fagioli is available for $6 per quart.

FRIDAY

American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will serve all-you-can-eat fish dinners from 3 to 7 p.m. Meals are priced at $9.50. Chicken and shrimp dinners are available for $8.50, and fish sandwiches are $6.50. All meals include french fries, coleslaw, roll and drink.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. There will be a choice of beer batter, fried, baked or Cajun-style fish; haluski, french fries, macaroni and cheese or parsley potatoes; coleslaw or applesauce; and cake and coffee. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. An extra piece of fish is $5, and extra sides are $3. Brookfield United Methodist Church, 6951 Grove St., will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. The menu includes meatballs, salad bar, bread and butter, beverage and dessert. The cost is $8 for adults.

Good Hope Lutheran Church, 12030 Market St., North Lima, will sponsor its annual beef tips and noodles dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. The meal includes tossed salad, bread, beverage, cherry pie and ice cream. North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, is having a pie auction at 5:30 p.m. Homemade pies and other dessert specialities will be sold to benefit a youth convention trip to Kansas City this summer, A walking taco stand also will be set up before the auction.

SUNDAY

American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave, is having a spaghetti dinner and bake sale from noon to 5 p.m. A 50-50 raffle will take place during the event. Dinner, sponsored by the Youngstown VA Clinic volunteers, comprises spaghetti and meatballs, salad, dessert, coffee and tea. Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $4 for children 12 and under.

Boy Scout Troop 44 will host its 23rd annual spaghetti dinner from noon to 5 p.m. at Poland Presbyterian Church, 2 Poland Manor. The all-you-can-eat dinner is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 and under. Carryout is available. Tickets can be purchased in advance from any troop member or at the door.
