Exercise classes set at two locations

Exercise classes are scheduled at two venues.

Classes at no charge will take place at the United Methodist Community Center, 139 E. Boardman St., Youngstown. The schedule is Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., zumba; Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., line dancing; and Fridays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., chair aerobics.

Classes for $5 each will take place at the Stacey Pavilion in Austintown Township Park. The schedule is Mondays from 6 to 7 p.m., yoga; Wednesdays from 8 to 9 p.m., gentle yoga; and Fridays from 10:30 to 1:30 p.m., yoga.

The classes are open to all levels.

Animal Charity plans Fur Ball

Animal Charity Humane Society will sponsor its second annual Fur Ball from 7 to 11 p.m. March 7 at the B&O Station, 530 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown.

The event helps raise funds for the dogs and cats currently under Animal Charity’s care.

There will be raffles and auctions, food from local restaurants to sample and music for dancing provided by DJ Mickey.

There also will be adoptables.

Tickets are $20 for a single and two for $25.

Tickets also will be available at the door the night of the event.

All proceeds will benefit abused and neglected animals in Animal Charity’s care.
