Williamses’ 55th anniversary is observed

Jack and Sandra Williams of Niles recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary by welcoming friends to their winter home in Dade City, Fla., on Jan. 25.

Their children are Natalie (Tom) Reapsummer of Girard and Jack Williams Jr. of McDonald. The family is completed by four grandchildren, Tom, Adam, Dan and Sandra.

The former Sandra Borsick married Mr. Williams on her birthday, Jan. 23, 1960, at the Chapel of Friendly Bells in Youngstown.

The couple are members of Gospel Baptist Church in Poland.

The Williamses both worked as assemblers at General Motors in Lordstown; she retired in March 1993, and her husband in June 1994.

Mr. Williams served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1966, two of which stationed in Germany.
