Tole-painting class Feb. 23 at Munnell Run Farm

MERCER, PA.
The Mercer County Conservation District and Munnell Run Farm, 24 Avalon Court, will host a class, “Tole Painting with Georgia: Think Spring Project,” featuring guest artisan Georgia Mosebach from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 23.
Mosebach has 25 years of tole-painting experience, and will introduce participants to the art with a decorative garden-brick project featuring a painted mouse and tulips.
No art experience is required, and all materials will be provided. Munnell Run Farm will arrange an overflow date, slated for Feb. 25, for any participants who do not finish their project during the first class.
Cost is $25, and participants must pre-register and pre-pay by Wednesday.
Mosebach’s “Intro to Tole Painting Class” is a prerequisite for the “Think Spring” project. Participants who have not taken this prerequisite are required to arrive at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 23 for an introductory portion. The fee will be $30 for the class.
