Jimmie Stafford officiated at the 1 p.m. Sept. 20, 2014, wedding of Krista Yankush and Michael Rubosky, both of Boardman. The ceremony took place in Christman Hall of Stambaugh Auditorium and a reception followed at Antone’s Banquet Center in Boardman.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Thomas Yankush and Tami Yankush, both of Canfield. The groom is the son of John Rubosky of Youngstown and Rosann Rubosky of Mantua.

The bride wore a champagne-colored strapless A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline that featured beaded lace over silky satin.

Alexandria Scianna and the bride’s sister, Kelsey Yankush, were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Bruno, Alyssa Cubbison, Lauren Thomas, Allysia Tubbs and Brittany Rothbauer. The attendants wore emerald green dresses.

The groom’s brother, Daniel Rubosky, performed duties of best man. Groomsmen were John Butler; Michael Bevan; Gary Brode; Steven Bosiljcic; Andrew Koval; Anthony Catale; Thomas and Ryan Yankush, the bride’s brothers, and Daniel Poppke.

Mrs. Rubosky attended the University of Mount Union and earned a master’s degree in physician-assistant studies. She is a certified physician assistant at Medical Endocrinology and Dermatology Specialists in Beloit.

The groom is a correctional officer at the Corrections Corporation of America in Youngstown.

For their wedding trip, the couple traveled to Maroma Beach in Riviera Maya, Cancun, Mexico. They live in Boardman.
