Alexanders’ 50th anniversary observed

AUSTINTOWN

James and Donna Alexander celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 23, 2014, during a catered dinner at Austintown Community Church, where they are members.

The event was hosted by their children, Marcy Dill of Ashland and Robert Alexander of Youngstown. The family also includes 10 grandchildren.

Mrs. Alexander is a homemaker.

Mr. Alexander retired in 2001 from Delphi Packard Electric Systems in Warren where he was an engineering supervisor.

The former Donna Gromley married Mr. Alexander on Aug. 29, 1964, at Canfield Presbyterian Church.
