Simon death ruling

NEW YORK

An autopsy has ruled the death of “60 Minutes” correspondent Bob Simon to be an accident.

The New York City medical examiner said Friday that Simon died from blunt-force injuries to his head, torso and extremities and had fractures.

Police say Simon was not wearing a seat belt Wednesday night when the car he was riding in crashed.
