Parents announce Sayers-Prickett engagement

An announcement of the engagement of Laurie Sayers and Jeffrey Prickett, both of Niles, is being made by their parents.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Lucille and Vaughn Sayers of Cortland. Faye and Jack Bosley and Joan and Lloyd Prickett, all of Newton Falls, are parents of the prospective groom.

The couple plan to wed May 23 during an afternoon ceremony at Candlelight Knolls Terrace in Cortland. A reception will follow in the ballroom that evening. Invitations will be issued.

The future bride attended Youngstown and Kent state universities where she studied business management. She was certified in event and floral management by Teleflora and is co-owner of Caesar’s Italian Restaurant in Warren and owner of the floral and event company Designs by Laurie.

Mr. Prickett is employed at Bar Processing in Newton Falls.
