Savastanos mark 60th anniversary at dinner

Antonette and Guy Savastano Sr. of Boardman celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Dec. 6.

Their daughter and son-in-law, Ann Marie and Chuck Woloschak, hosted a dinner at their home in North Jackson, and invitations were issued.

The couple’s other children are Guy (Kelly) Savastano Jr. of Independence, Ohio; Paula (Bob) Hudock of Canfield; Andrea Savastano of Boardman; Jeanna Savastano of Hubbard; and Michelle (Mike) Ianazone of Boardman.

Mrs. Savastano, the former Antonette LaVolpe, retired after working as a hostess at The Oven, which was a restaurant in Youngstown.

Mr. Savastano retired in 1986 as a locomotive engineer with Conrail.

He is a World War II veteran and served in the U.S. Navy.

The couple were married Dec. 4, 1954, in Las Vegas.
