Mr., Mrs. Kovach celebrate 50th at family event

AUSTINTOWN

Richard and Elaine Kovach of Austintown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 31 during a small family gathering at The Upstairs Restaurant.

The couple have three children, Laurie (Mike) Wolfe of Youngstown, Shelly (Dave) Siembieda of Austintown and Deanna (Rodney) Faria of Phoenix. They also are the grandparents of 10.

Mrs. Kovach, the former Elaine Kravec, retired in 2005 as a registered nurse at Forum Health in Youngstown.

She is a member of St. Joseph Church.

Mr. Kovach retired in 2002 as an auto body repairman at Automotive Dynamics in Youngstown.

He is a member of the Hungarian Presbyterian Church. He served in the U.S. National Guard.

The Kovaches were married Oct. 31, 1964, at St. Brendan Church in Youngstown.
