Youngstown man gets 12-year prison term for 2012 homicide

YOUNGSTOWN — A Hilton Avenue man, who pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter, was sentenced this morning to 12 years in prison.

Walter Drake, 29, drew the sentence from Judge Maureen A. Sweeney of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court for the June 13, 2012, shooting death of Dion Weatherspoon in the driveway of Drake's home.
