‘I Remember Mama’ at the Vic

The Victorian Players Theater will present “I Remember Mama” for three consecutive weekends. The play by John Van Druten is a two-act series of vignettes as related by the oldest daughter, Katrin, who dreams of being a famous writer. Katrin is portrayed by Selena Phillips, and Mama is played by Phillips’ real mother, Laura J. Phillips. The family patriarch, Uncle Chris, is played by C. Richard Haldi. Rounding out the cast are Miles Paul Assion, Morgan LaCamera, Stevin Vician, Rachael Conrad, Patricia M. Fagan, Marisa Keshock, Teresa Evans, Johnny Dragos, William Ploskodniak and Stephen Kountz. Gerri Jenkins is the director. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Feb. 20 and 21; and at 2 p.m. Sunday and Feb. 22. The theater is at 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown.
