H&M will open at Eastwood by fall

H&M will open another local location this year at Eastwood Mall.

The Cafaro Co., which operates the mall complex at 5555 Youngstown-Warren Road, announced Wednesday the fashion retailer will open a 20,000-square-foot store by the early fall.

The Everything Buckeyes store will move to a new location in the Sears concourse at Eastwood for H&M to move into center court. Everything Buckeyes will reopen in mid-March.

In January, the Swedish apparel retailer announced it would open an 18,000-square-foot store by the spring at Southern Park Mall in Boardman.

H&M offers clothing lines for men, women, teens and children.

The first H&M store opened in Sweden in 1947. It is ranked as the world’s second-largest clothing retailer, with more than 3,500 stores in 53 countries and more than 132,000 employees.

Other retailers are expected to open new or expanded locations at Eastwood. Details are expected to be announced in the near future on those retailers.
