“2Real4U,SDRq a new Christian drama series titled “2Real4U” will be shot in the Youngstown area, and actors are being sought for the production. The show follows five families and reveals tensions and hardships but with a dose of soapy fun. For information, call 800-352-6449, ext. 777.

“Following Oaks,SDRq a 45-minute film to be shot in the Mahoning Valley, is seeking actors. Auditions will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at 4013 E. Market St., Warren. Callbacks will be Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. Shooting will begin in March or April. There will be no compensation. Auditionees will be required to perform a piece of their choosing that ranges in length from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Piece can be from a book, movie or any other published work. No Shakespeare. After performing, all those auditioning must read from the script. About 25 characters must be cast. Auditionees must bring a head shot and acting resume, and are asked to register in advance at pictapost.com/casting-signups.

“Doubt: A Parable,SDRq directed by Christopher Fidram, Victorian Players, Victorian Players Theater, 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, auditions 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Assistant director is Tricia Terlesky, and stage manager is Susi Thompson. Roles available include Sister Aloysius, a caucasian female, age 50 and older; Father Flynn, caucasian male, age 30 to 50; Sister James, caucasian female, age 20 to 30; Mrs. Muller, African-American female, age 30 to 50. Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script. “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike,” directed by Lester Malizia, New Castle Playhouse, 202 E. Long Ave., New Castle, Pa., auditions at 2 p.m. Feb. 21 and at 7 p.m. Feb. 22 in the Annex Theatre. The play follows middle-age siblings Vanya and Sonia, who share a home in Bucks County, Pa., where they bicker and complain about the circumstances of their lives. Their movie-star sister, Masha, suddenly swoops in with her new boy toy, Spike. Old resentments flare up, leading to threats to sell the house. Performances will be April 10-19. Neil Simon’s “Barefoot in the Park,SDRq directed by Bill Finley, Stage Left Players, Trinity Playhouse, 234 E. Lincoln Way, Lisbon, auditions at 2 p.m. Feb. 21 and at 6 p.m. Feb. 22. The director seeks a cast of six to play the characters who set up housekeeping in a New York City brownstone, five flights up. Performances will be at 7 p.m. April 17, 18, 24 and 25 and at 2 p.m. April 26.

Neil Simon’s “God’s Favorite,” directed by Dan Haueter, Salem Community Theatre, 490 E. State St., Salem, auditions at 7 p.m. Feb. 22 and 23. Needed are five male and three female actors age 18 to 60 or older. All roles are open, and those auditioning should come prepared to read from the script and interact with others. Rehearsals will begin the following week, with performances opening May 1 and running two weekends, for six total performances. “Little Women,” Feb. 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Dublin Grange Theater, 6571 Fairgrounds Blvd., Canfield. The play is being presented by AfterSchool Players and is a youth-theater production. Needed are four males and seven females in grades 7 to 12. Callbacks will be that week. Students are asked to study the characters prior to auditions and will cold read from the script.
