A musical mystery opens the 2015 dinner-theater season at Das Dutch Village Inn.

“The Tragic Demise of Alfred the Squatty” by Musical Mysteries & More of Pittsburgh will be presented at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

A rollicking interactive mystery, “Alfred” takes audience members back in time to the chivalrous days of yore to help solve the mystery of who killed the King. It includes a four-course gourmet buffet with desserts.

Overnight and Weekend Escape packages are available this weekend for dinner-theater guests.
