2-year-old boy killed when struck by Pa. trolley


PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A 2-year-old boy has been struck and killed by a trolley in West Philadelphia.

Police say the boy was hit by SEPTA’s Route 10 trolley about 1 p.m. today near the intersection of 51st Street and Lancaster Avenue.

Police closed off the street and the transit agency was detouring trolleys via Girard Avenue.
