Gang member gets six years for drug, robbery, assault charges

YOUNGSTOWN — A man prosecutors said was a member of a West Side street gang was sentenced to six years in prison today in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.

Tyrone Gordon, 20, was sentenced by Judge Lou A. D'Apolito on drug, gang, aggravated robbery and felonious assault charges.

Gordon, who entered guilty pleas to the charges, was one of several people arrested last March for their roles as members of the E Block gang, which operated around the area of Evanston Avenue on the lower West Side.
