NYO, others plan to host open house
YOUNGSTOWN
NYO Property Group and other businesses are hosting a collaborative open house Thursday for clients, friends and supporters and professionals of Youngstown. Open-house hours are 5 to 7 p.m. at the 16 Wick Ave. building downtown across the street from the Nathaniel R. Jones Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse.
This office space allows companies to rent individual offices while providing many accommodations to tenants. Attendees will have the opportunity to see the new office spaces, network with local professionals and meet the hosts. Appetizers and beverages will be provided.
Praise for getting YARS in budget
YOUNGSTOWN
The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber praised the effort from Ohio’s U.S. senators in helping to put the Youngstown Air Reserve Station in President Barack Obama’s budget.
U.S. Sens. Rob Portman (R) and Sherrod Brown (D) helped include $9.4 million for the Youngstown Air Reserve Station indoor firing range in the budget. YARS is on King Graves Road in Vienna.

Best Western Plus Boardman Inn & Suites has opened at 7400 Tiffany South. It offers rooms that have a single king bed, two queen beds, and extended-stay suites, which come with a full kitchen.
Amenities include free faxes, scans, wireless Internet and printing. The facility also features an indoor pool and hot tub. Best Western also offers a manager’s Happier Hour with free drinks to guests at no additional cost from 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays.
