Man held for vehicular manslaughter
YOUNGSTOWN
Police arrested a man on vehicular manslaughter and fraud warrants after a traffic stop on Elm Street Monday.
Police said they stopped Michael Koval, 34, on Elm at Dennick Avenue because his vehicle did not have a front license plate.
Officers then discovered that Koval had active warrants through Youngstown Municipal Court for vehicular manslaughter and through Columbiana County for fraud.
Koval also was cited for two plates required and driving under suspension.
He was taken to the Mahoning County jail pending a court appearance.
