Latest homicide victim was due in court Tuesday

YOUNGSTOWN — A man who died early Saturday morning at St Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital after being shot at the Partners Jazz And Blues Lounge was a suspect in another homicide.

Dejuan Thomas, was to have a pretrial hearing Tuesday morning for his role in the death of a man at his Elm Street home in April of 2013.

Thomas was also seriously wounded in the same incident. He faced charges of aggravated murder in the case.

Police are still investigating.

Thomas' death is the city's second homicide in 2015.
