3rd person nabbed during manhunt for Ohio killing suspect
KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) — The FBI says a suspect in armed robberies in three Eastern states and the companion of a man accused of killing an elderly Ohio couple has been captured in Arizona.
Authorities say 28-year-old Jeffrey Caley Jr. was arrested today after fleeing from law enforcement in northwest Arizona. They previously arrested his companions: 29-year-old murder suspect Robert Clark and 26-year-old robbery suspect Tabatha Hazel.
Authorities say Clark led Mojave County sheriff’s deputies on a high-speed chase after they tried to pull over his van on Interstate 40. Clark and Hazel were caught after Clark’s van became stuck on a dirt road.
Clark is a suspect in the abduction and killings last month of a couple who lived in a village in northeast Ohio.
Caley and Hazel aren’t suspects in the slayings.
